Dakshini Prayash celebrated its annual event, Satat Ullas ’25, on January 12, 2025, at its sports ground, showcasing the transformative power of holistic education. Over 350 students from Madurdaha Satyavriti Vidyalaya (MSV) and the tutorial programs participated, presenting a vibrant mix of sports, art, cultural performances, and community initiatives.

The event was graced by Ms. Soma Biswas, renowned heptathlete and two-time Asian Games silver medalist, as the Guest of Honour. She praised the students’ energy and Dakshini Prayash’s community-centric educational model. Ms. Biswas remarked, “The teamwork and enthusiasm displayed today were truly inspiring.”

Founded in 1991 under a tree in Madurdaha, Dakshini Prayash has grown into a beacon of hope for economically weaker sections. Today, it serves over 350 students with 40+ teachers, offering quality education, nourishing meals, health check-ups, and medical support, virtually free of cost to students and families. Beyond academics, its self-reliance schemes and environmental sustainability projects empower entire families.

Satat Ullas ’25 highlighted Dakshini Prayash’s vision of sustainable community development, integrating academics with co-curricular activities and initiatives like elder care and parent counseling. The organization aims to replicate this model across communities in the next three years.
