Entrepreneur Premier League (EPL), an exclusive sporting initiative for business leaders, marked the commencement of its 7th Edition with a grand auction held at a renowned hotel in Kolkata. The league was conceptualised and founded by Mr. Anand Gupta, Founder and Owner of Anand Financial Services, and continued to expand in scale and popularity with every passing season.
The 7th Edition of EPL featured 10 dynamic teams—6 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams—owned by eminent business personalities who actively participated in the tournament. All matches were scheduled to be played on 13th and 14th December at The Spring Club, promising two days of high-energy cricket, camaraderie and sporting spirit.
EPL was envisioned as a platform where business leaders could step away from their demanding schedules and enjoy the spirit of sport. The previous six seasons were extremely successful and filled with memorable moments. We believed this edition would elevate the experience further with greater competitiveness and a more evolved style of play.”
He further added,
“EPL was much more than a cricket tournament for us—it represented passion and togetherness. We looked forward to it throughout the year. In our professional lives, finding time for sports is difficult, even though it played such an important role in our early years. EPL allowed us to reconnect with the game, focus on fitness and unwind. Sport remains one of the most effective ways to refresh both mind and body.”
