On the back of the successful Pujo campaign in 2023 with Tollywood superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, this year the brand strengthened the association with an exciting collaboration. In this year’s Durga Pujo campaign, Prosenjit Chatterjee invited the viewers for an exciting opportunity stating, “Are you someone who likes to act, someone who loves being in the spotlight, SUGAR gives you a golden chance. Give a missed call on 9522205055 and stand a chance to act in my production house. Sharod Utsab with SUGAR!”

As a result of this campaign, a massive 13,000+ people registered to get a chance to act, out of which 50 candidates were shortlisted for the final auditions. The top 10 performers from the audition were
felicitated at the finale award ceremony by Prosenjit Chatterjee and SUGAR Cosmetics Co-founders, Vineeta Singh and Kaushik Mukherjee, on Ashtami at Ballygunge Cultural Pandal, where Anisha Banerjee was judged the winner, who has got selected to act in Prosenjit Chatterjee’s production house. On the day of the event, Prosenjit Chatterjee, along with Vineeta Singh and Kaushik Mukherjee, also unveiled the brand-new SUGAR Partner in Shine Transferproof Lip Gloss product for makeup enthusiasts.

Speaking about the culmination of the campaign, Kaushik Mukherjee, Co-founder and COO, SUGAR Cosmetics, “In our second consecutive Durga Puja celebrations with the beloved Prosenjit Chatterjee, we took the celebrations a notch higher. The campaign’s TV commercial aired statewide across leading Bengali prime television channels and was amplified across mainstream digital, social media, and retail touch points and with leading beauty influencers in Kolkata.

The brand’s YouTube page has also had a huge growth spurt this year reaching a whopping 1.6M+ subscribers and Twitter on the other hand stands strong at 44.3K+.
