Kolkata- The 35th Rose Show, a spectacular celebration of nature’s most beloved flower, will be held at Lions Safari Park, Rabindra Sarobar, Gate No. 10 a project of Lions Club of Calcutta North, in association with the Bengal Rose Society. The event will run from 3 PM on 10th January to 12th January 2025, welcoming visitors daily from 7 AM to 5 PM.
The grand inauguration on 10th January will be led by Lion Saloni Salvi, District Governor of Lions Clubs International, District 322B1. Sri Sajjan Bhajanka, a renowned industrialist and philanthropist, will grace the event as the Chief Guest, alongside Sri Ramesh Chand Parekh, the Guest of Honour.
The Award Ceremony will take place on 12th January at 3 PM, with Sri Debashis Kumar, Mayor-inCouncil of KMC, as the Chief Guest and Sri Brahmanand Agarwal, an esteemed industrialist and philanthropist, as the Guest of Honour.
Adding a touch of creativity, students from the School on Wheels will showcase their talents on the morning of 12th January by presenting Art on Roses and crafting unique rose bouquets. This inspiring segment will be attended by Sri Vaishwanar chattopadhyay, MMIC Law, KMC, and Smt. Chaitali Chatterjee, Borough Chairperson, KMC AND Lion Manju Chamaria, 1st Vice District Governor, Lions Clubs International, Dist. 322B1.
The show promises a breatinaking display of potted roses, cut roses, and innovative techniques in rose cultivation from acrese West Bengal. A highlight of the event will be the extraordinary Pot Roses, each adorned with hundreds outcoms, showcasing the unparalleled expertise of local growers.
Exhibits will be judged by distinguished rose experts on the morning of the opening day, with public access beginning that afternoon. Thousands of rose enthusiasts and nature lovers are expected to attend this annual floral extravaganza.
