Celebrating Womanhood, Honouring Trailblazers & Changemakers
Kolkata, 12th July, 2025: Techno India Group, Eastern India’s largest educational group, comes back with the scintillating second season of Labonnyo, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to celebrating womanhood through an inspiring award ceremony that honours the spirit, resilience and achievements of exceptional women who have emerged as trailblazers and changemakers across diverse walks of life.
It is a platform that recognises not only success, but the courage it takes to break barriers.
Each awardee’s journey is a story of strength, compassion and purpose. From leadership and entrepreneurship to sports, arts, and social service, Labonnyo showcases the many facets of woman power. By celebrating these icons, Techno India Group hopes to ignite dreams and encourage more women to step forward with confidence.
“Time and again, women have had to fight twice as hard to claim their space and prove their worth. Labonnyo is our tribute to those who rise above barriers with courage, compassion, and purpose. Through this platform, we honour their journeys and celebrate the power of womanhood in shaping a more inclusive and inspired world,” said Prof Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group.
The Chief Guest to the ceremony was Dr Sashi Panja, Minister of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare of West Bengal, and the Industry, Commerce & Enterprises Departments, Government of West Bengal. Our awardee, Devi Smt. Nayantara Pal Chowdhury, Diplomatic Envoy, was also present. The award presenters who conferred the honours to these remarkable women were Dibyendu Baruah, Arindam Sil, Dr Kunal Sarkar, Rita Bhimani, Nandita Palchoudhuri, Pt. Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, Somjit Dasgupta and Ranadeep Moitra.
There are ten categories of Awards in Labonnyo 2025 – Snehapurna, Oishani, Swadha, Aarohi, Adweta, Dhriti, Dyuti, Asmi, Maanvi and Devi, the lifetime achievement award.
