Newtown, December 2024: St. Joan’s School, Newtown, marked a momentous occasion with the celebration of its Annual Sports Day, a vibrant event showcasing the determination, spirit, and talent of its students. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, parents, guardians, and well-wishers, making it a day to remember.
The celebration was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Qin Yong, Deputy Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Kolkata, as the Chief Guest, accompanied by consular representatives from the People’s Republic of China.
The Guests of Honour for the event included:
* Padmashri Prof. Dr. Indira Chakraborty, Public Health Specialist,

*Principal Mrs. Debjani Ghosh* expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, parents, and wellwishers for their unwavering support. “Your encouragement and applause are invaluable to our students and teachers. As we celebrate the energy and enthusiasm of our students, we also reaffirm our commitment to innovation and excellence, evident in our pioneering robotics curriculum, Mandarin language program, and stellar Board results,” she said.
