Kolkata: In a major healthcare outreach initiative aimed at supporting economically vulnerable patients suffering from chronic illnesses, Parivartan Welfare Foundation, the social welfare and CSR arm of SastaSundar, formally launched CharityForHealth.org, a technology-driven platform designed to provide free medicines and healthcare support to underprivileged communities across India.
Inspired by the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for Viksit Bharat 2047.This CSR contributions and philanthropic donations directly with patients who struggle to afford treatment for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and depression. Through a transparent and digitally monitored system, the platform aims to ensure that healthcare assistance reaches verified beneficiaries without delays or leakages.
As part of its inaugural programme, eligible beneficiaries can receive medicines worth up to ₹500 through a combination of discounts offered on JITO Health Quality Generic Medicines through the SastaSundar App and digital health tokens issued by CharityForHealth.org. Medicines are delivered directly to patients’ homes at no additional cost.
The platform has also introduced a comprehensive healthcare package providing doctor consultations, diagnostic tests and medicines worth ₹1,500 through designated JITO Health Centres, the clinic and pharmacy network of SastaSundar.

Parivartan Welfare Foundation stated that every contribution made through the platform is digitally tracked and converted into healthcare benefits for verified beneficiaries, ensuring transparency, accountability and measurable social impact.
