CCI Logistics honours the Transgender Community ahead of Durga Puja
Kolkata, 18th September 2025: CCI Logistics hosted a truly inspiring pre-Durga Puja celebration titled “One Heart, 600 Voices: A Celebration of Belonging”, dedicated to honouring the transgender community and acknowledging their invaluable contributions to society.
For the 19th consecutive year, CCI Logistics reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating the spirit of Durga Puja by embracing diversity and promoting inclusivity. This year’s initiative brought together 600 members of the transgender community, offering them not only a platform to celebrate their identity but also a safe and respectful space to feel heard, seen, and cherished. The celebration carried forward the true essence of Maa Durga — symbolising strength, compassion, and unity — and reflected the belief that every voice, every individual, is an integral part of the social fabric.
The event was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Vivek Gupta, MLA, Jorasakho Constituency, West Bengal; Supti Pandey, MLA, Maniktala Constituency, West Bengal, Santi Ranjan Kundu, President, North Kolkata District Trinamool Youth Congress;Tinkari Dutta, Director, Renowned Social Worker, and Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, EZ-CSR, CCI Logistics Ltd. Their presence highlighted the growing recognition of the transgender community’s role in shaping a compassionate, inclusive society.
The day’s celebration was vibrant and emotional, marked by soulful dance performances by members of the transgender community that left the audience moved. There were moments of joy, laughter, and heartfelt camaraderie as everyone came together to share the festive spirit. As a token of love and respect, CCI Logistics presented each attendee with a saree, symbolising dignity and belonging. This thoughtful gesture reinforced the message that they are not just acknowledged but celebrated as equal members of society.
