Naad Festival: A Celebration of Classical Music in Kolkata

Kolkata, March 2023 – The city of Kolkata is all set to witness the fourth edition of the Naad Festival, a unique celebration of classical music. Organized by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Pandit Shankar Ghosh Tabla Foundation, the festival promises to be a treat for music lovers.

Scheduled to take place from March 21st to 23rd at the G.D. Birla Sabhagar, the festival will feature a lineup of renowned artists, including Aman Ali Bangash (sarod), Anubrata Chatterjee (tabla), Aditi Mangaldas (Kathak), Ajay Pohankar and Abhijit Pohankar (duo), and Tanmoy Das (harmonium).

The highlight of this year’s festival is Pandit Vikram Ghosh’s brand-new presentation, “Transformation”, a unique fusion of tabla, mridangam, violin, and keyboard.

According to Pandit Vikram Ghosh, “Naad has already carved a niche for itself in the hearts of music lovers. This year’s festival promises to be just as exciting, with a few surprises in store. We urge everyone to book their tickets and experience the magic of classical music.”
