MedSage, a well-known wholesale and retail chemist and druggist company from Kolkata, has recently opened a new branch at Rampurhat in Birbhum, West Bengal. This new center will greatly benefit the people of Rampurhat by providing easy access to quality medicines, diagnostic services, and affordable food under one roof. The new branch will work mainly in two areas — MedSage IVD Services and MedSage Hospitality.
Through MedSage IVD Services, local patients and hospitals will get fast and accurate laboratory and diagnostic facilities. This will help people receive better and quicker treatment without needing to travel far. During the COVID-19 pandemic, MedSage built 111 PSA Oxygen Plants under the PM CARES program, showing its strong commitment to public health.
MedSage Hospitality will provide clean, hygienic, and low-cost meals to patients, attendants, and healthcare workers through its in-house cafeteria, ensuring a healthier environment around the medical college.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Dr. Rahul Banerjee, FCA, PhD, and formally inaugurated by Dr. Prithwi Banerjee, MBBS (Hons), AIIMS Bhubaneswar, who will also guide the General OPD services. Their initiative was supported by Shamsul Kamelin, with Ali Moosavi, Operational Head (Europe & Benelux), attending from Milan.
