Madurdaha School Showcases Student Talent in Sports and Culture at SATTA ULLAS 26

Kolkata | January 18, 2026: Madurdaha School organised SATTA ULLAS 26, a vibrant student-centric programme that celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship and cultural expression. Designed to encourage holistic student development, the event highlighted the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, creativity, and confidence through an engaging mix of competitive sports and cultural performances.

Students actively participated in a variety of sports activities, including track and field events, team games, and skill-based competitions that promoted endurance, coordination, and fair play. These sporting events provided students with a platform to demonstrate resilience, leadership, and teamwork, reinforcing the school’s emphasis on physical education as a key pillar of learning.

Alongside sports, students showcased their artistic talents through colourful cultural programmes such as dance, music, and group performances that reflected unity, tradition, and youthful energy. The cultural segment added vibrancy to the event, allowing students to express creativity while celebrating India’s rich cultural diversity.

The programme was graced by Mr. Jaideep Mukerjea, former Indian tennis player, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Ramendu Homchaudhuri, District Governor, Rotary District 3291, as the Guest of Honour. Mr. S. Radhakrishnan, Board Member of Dakshini Prayash , motivated students to pursue balanced growth through academics, sports, and culture, emphasising the role of such platforms in shaping character and confidence.

Addressing the students, Mr. Mukerjea appreciated their enthusiastic participation and praised the school for providing opportunities that extend learning beyond classrooms. He highlighted that regular engagement in sports and cultural activities plays a vital role in building discipline, self-belief, and a competitive yet healthy mindset.

Ms. Anubhuti Prakash, President of Dakshini Prayash, commended the students’ energy and commitment, noting that their performances reflected dedication and teamwork.
