Kolkata, 12th July, 2025- M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School, known for its dedication to academic excellence and holistic education, celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 2025 on Saturday, 12th July at its campus located on James Long Sarani, Muradpur, Behala, Kolkata. The ceremony served as a grand celebration of student achievement, honouring a total of 223 students for their outstanding performance across academics, co-curricular activities, and leadership.
The event began with a ceremonial candle-lighting by the dignitaries, symbolising the light of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by the soulful rendition of the School Anthem by the students, creating a deep sense of unity and pride among attendees. Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest was Mr. Amitava Dutta, Trustee and Chairman of the Telegraph Education Foundation, who delivered an inspiring address encouraging students to strive for excellence while staying grounded in values. Also present was Mr. S.K. Daga, Secretary and Trustee of M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School, whose continued guidance has helped shape the school’s remarkable journey.
From the school’s leadership, the event was led by Principal Mrs. Purnima Chatterjee along with Mr. S.K. Singh, CEO and Vice Principal Mrs. Sravani Roy Choudhury. In her address, Mrs. Purnima Chatterjee stated, “Every award handed out today is not just a recognition of academic excellence, but a celebration of perseverance, discipline, and the spirit of continuous learning. Our students are growing into thoughtful individuals, and that is our greatest achievement as educators.”
Mr. S.K. Singh added, “Education must not only fill minds but ignite them. Our students have time and again shown that when discipline meets dreams, greatness follows. Today we not only honour marks and medals, but also the journey of effort, growth, and resilience.”
