Through the integration of technology, tradition, community participation, and awareness, Kisaanka continues to work towards empowering farmers, protecting natural resources, and building a resilient agri-future for India.
“It is truly an honour to stand here today and share the Kisaanka journey with all of you.
Kisaanka did not begin as a business idea. It began as a realisation.
While travelling to different villages during film shoots, I had the opportunity to spend time with farmers and their families. I listened to their stories, watched their daily struggles, and understood how deeply agriculture is connected to our lives. What stood out to me was not a lack of effort or hard work, but a gap in access. A gap in knowledge, in resources, and in innovations that could actually reach the ground.

That experience stayed with me.
Around the same time, Karandeep was working closely with rural communities and thinking deeply about how agriculture could be introduced to the next generation in a meaningful way. He believed that if children understand farming early, they will respect it, value it, and innovate it in the future. This thought led him to write agricultural books that simplify complex ideas and make farming relatable for young minds.
Kisaanka was born from this shared vision. A vision to bridge the gap between farmers and innovation, between tradition and technology, and between education and action.
Today, Kisaanka has grown into a platform that works across multiple dimensions of agriculture. From knowledge and books to practical solutions and sustainable products, our focus has always been to create impact where it matters the most. We are proud to be incubated by IIM Calcutta and supported by NEIDP and the North Eastern Council under the Government of India. Being recognised as the Best AgriTech Startup by the Indian Chamber of Commerce is an honour that motivates us to do even better.
However, awards and recognitions are not our final goal. Our real success lies in the smiles of farmers, in children learning about agriculture with curiosity, and in communities that feel empowered rather than dependent.
Delhi marks an important milestone in our journey. Today is not just a launch, but a reaffirmation of our commitment to Indian agriculture and to the people who sustain it every day.
Kisaanka is not just an initiative.
It is a responsibility.

A responsibility to our farmers, to our soil, and to the future generation.
Thank you for your presence, your support, and your belief in Kisaanka.
Together, we move forward”. Said Shrestha Ganguly, Investor and Co-owner of Kisaanka.
