JIMS Hospital Launches “Healthier Habits, Happier Lives” Initiative on World Health Day

Published:

Kolkata — On the occasion of World Health Day, Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital (JIMS), Budge Budge is proud to launch its latest community health initiative — “Healthier Habits, Happier Lives” — aimed at promoting preventative healthcare and well-being across the region.

As part of this meaningful campaign, JIMS Hospital will organize free health check-up camps under the banner “Measure Your Health Status” across 20 key locations throughout the city. These camps will offer residents a chance to undergo comprehensive health assessments, participate in interactive educational quizzes, and receive expert guidance on cultivating sustainable, healthy lifestyle habits.

“Preventative healthcare is the cornerstone of a long and fulfilling life,” said Mr. Krishna Kumar Gupta, Chairman of JIMS Hospital. “Through this initiative, we hope to empower individuals with the tools and awareness they need to take proactive control of their health — and, in turn, inspire their families and communities to do the same.”

The initiative reflects JIMS Hospital’s ongoing commitment to creating a healthier society by emphasizing early detection, lifestyle improvement, and health education. The campaign encourages a shift from reactive treatment to proactive wellness, aiming to generate a lasting impact on community health outcomes.

By championing small but consistent lifestyle changes, JIMS hopes to spark a ripple effect — one where individuals not only embrace healthier habits themselves but also become ambassadors of wellness within their circles.
