24th November, Kolkata: The 9th edition of the JBG Kolkata World 10K was successfully hosted today at Godrej Waterside, Salt Lake Sector 5, with fitness icon Milind Soman as the official brand ambassador. The AIIMS and World Athletics certified Run hosted over 5130 participants across categories from diverse walks of life. To add to the excitement, Milind Soman and his wife, Ankita Konwar, joined the participants for the run.
From a well-organized venue and a clean route to prompt on-ground support, the event was expertly managed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for participants from across the spectrum. Supported by Manipal Hospitals, the venue was equipped with extensive medical facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the event.

The event venue was buzzing with excitement, offering a range of facilities to ensure participants had a memorable and enjoyable race day experience. Pre-race Zumba sessions warmed up the crowd, getting everyone in high spirits before the start. As runners crossed the finish line, they were greeted with their well-earned finisher medals, celebrating their hard work and perseverance. The Recovery Zones provided much-needed rest and rejuvenation, while Selfie Zones allowed participants to capture and share their victorious moments. Throughout the route, strategically placed Hydration Zones and Motivation Zones kept runners hydrated and energized, while the lively music, DJ, and dance performances kept the atmosphere upbeat. Post-race refreshments were available to fuel the runners. These thoughtful touches created an all-around festive atmosphere, making the event not just a race, but a true celebration of the fitness-freak community.
