Kolkata, 24th September 2025: The Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) and University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Group ushered in the Durga Puja festivities by celebrating the true spirit of togetherness and compassion.
As part of its annual Puja initiative, the Group’s teachers accompanied 37 children from the Universal Smile Child Care Centre on a special Puja Porikroma across some of the city’s prominent Durga Puja pandals. The children were gifted new clothes for the festival and enjoyed a festive lunch arranged by the institution.
The initiative reflects the Group’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, ensuring that the joy of Durga Puja is shared with those who need it most.
Speaking on the occasion, a representative from the IEM-UEM Group said, “Durga Puja is not just about festivity, it is also about spreading love, inclusivity, and kindness. We are delighted to have been able to bring smiles to these children and make them a part of our celebration.”
