Kolkata, 24th March 2025: Five & Dime hosted a special Iftar Party, bringing together people from different backgrounds to share an evening of togetherness over a specially curated feast. The event highlighted the spirit of community and the joy of breaking fast with others.
Iftar, the evening meal during Ramadan, marks the end of the daily fast and is traditionally shared with family, friends, and the larger community. The gathering at Five & Dime reflected this tradition, offering guests an opportunity to connect over a spread of traditional delicacies.
The evening saw the presence of notable guests, including S. Dashmeshbir Singh (Chirag), National Coordinator of IHA Foundation and Executive Board Member of United Interfaith Foundation-India; S. Narinder Singh, Member of United Interfaith Foundation-India and Vice President of Sri Guru Singh Sabha; Satnam Singh Ahluwalia, representing the West Bengal Minorities Commission; and Arunjyoti Bhiku Maharaj, along with Sadique Zia, State Secretary of the WB Minority Cell. Paromita Ghosh, Director of Candid by Paromita, was also present at the gathering.
