Fundraising concert featuring Fakira in tribute to the Bimal De, most lovingly known as Biju da whose sudden demise has shattered his family and he entire music fraternity in Bengal.
Biju da, balanced the sounds of all famous artists from Bengal in last two decades . He was the key sound engineer of the famous band FAKIRA for last 10 years. He also managed the sound consoles of the bands like FOSSILS – CACTUS- Eeshaan- PRITHIBI- LAKKHICHARA ETC and so many solo a
rtists like Rupankar BAGCHI – LOPAMUDRA MITRA- RAGHAB CHATTERJEE ETC.
The concert will consists of a three
hour unplugged and plugged performance of band FAKIRA with their contemporary folk arrangements .
The event “Biju da r Jonno Ekok Fakira” shall happens at Uttam Mancha , 8th August, Thursday. 5:30 pm onwards.
This initiative is to support the family of Bimal Dey, lovingly known as Biju Da, who was not only a band member balancing sound , but also a loving family member and a known face in the music industry in Bengal.
The entire collected fund from the ticket sales will be given to the bereaved family of Biju Da.
Guests to be present : band Fakira will be present to perform and along with the same popular musicians like Anupam Roy, Shilajit, Lopamudra , Rupam Islam, etc. will be present. Tickets available on boshow.in.
