Kolkata, India, 22 July 2025 – Kolkata welcomed a phenomenal new experience as Live Your City launched its globally acclaimed Candlelight® series for the first time at the Hyatt Centric Ballygunge on 20th July. The inaugural “Candlelight: Tribute to A.R. Rahman” drew an overwhelming response, leaving audiences completely captivated and social media buzzing with excitement.
The elegant ballroom was completely transformed, enveloped in the soft glow of thousands of flameless candles, creating a breathtaking atmosphere that held the audience in rapt attention. August 10th’s “Candlelight: Best Movie Soundtracks” featuring beloved melodies from across Indian cinema, and September 6th’s highly anticipated “Candlelight: Tribute to Arijit Singh” are already creating significant buzz across the city’s cultural circles.
These performances will continue to offer a fresh perspective on musical classics, presented in the series’ signature, awe-inspiring setting.
