Customers can choose between two simple annuity options. Under the Life Annuity option, the plan pays a steady income for as long as the annuitant (the policyholder) is alive. With the Life Annuity with Return of Purchase Price option, the annuitant receives income for life, and, in the event of the unfortunate demise of the annuitant, the original investment is returned to their nominee.
There is also flexibility to choose between a Single Life annuity or a Joint Life annuity. By selecting a Joint Life annuity, the income will continue for the spouse or the second annuitant even in the absence of the primary annuitant, offering reassurance that the family’s needs will always be taken care of.
Beyond financial security, iRetire also provides support in times of health challenges. Under Single Life, Life Annuity with Return of Purchase Price option, if the annuitant is diagnosed with a covered critical illness or terminal illness, the annuitant has the option to access funds when they need them the most, making it more than just a retirement plan—it is also a promise of care during life’s uncertainties.
