Aditya Group’s Initiative with FEED Brings Positive Change to Asansol

Aditya Group recently reinforced its commitment to social welfare by supporting FEED (Food Education and Economic Development), an initiative dedicated to addressing hunger, providing quality education, and fulfilling basic needs in underprivileged communities.

The initiative, led by Chandrashekhar Kundu, widely known as the ‘Food Man,’ has successfully tackled critical issues such as food wastage, hunger, and education. Inspired by a moment of deep reflection after witnessing a child scavenging for food from a roadside dustbin, Kundu transformed his mission into a multi-dimensional movement that has positively impacted countless lives.

Under this initiative, Aditya Group took active steps to combat food wastage by ensuring that surplus food from its events and offices was distributed to those in need. The company also introduced smart classrooms to equip children with modern learning tools, empowering them to build brighter futures. Additionally, regular clothing donation drives were organized to provide essential support to marginalized communities, ensuring dignity and self-respect.

As part of these efforts, Aditya Group’s confectionery brand, Kreamz, with over 150 stores across West Bengal, played a crucial role in mobilizing public participation. Charity donation boxes were placed at each Kreamz outlet, encouraging customers to contribute to FEED’s noble cause.

Furthermore, Aditya Group’s employees actively participated in the initiative, fostering a culture of giving within the organization. The company also celebrated the achievements of children supported by FEED, motivating them to strive for excellence in their future endeavors.

FEED is providing food to thousands of needy children every day, ensuring that no child goes hungry and has access to proper nutrition.
