Kisaanka Agri Books Reached Kolkata and Digital Platforms to Build Agricultural Awareness Among Children

Published:

Kolkata: Kisaanka, an initiative dedicated to promoting agricultural literacy among children, announced the availability of its agri-books in Kolkata as well as on digital platforms. The physical editions were available at Annapurna Prakashani, Stall No. 372, while the e-book versions are available on Amazon, making the books accessible to readers across India and beyond.
Recognising the growing need to reconnect children with the origins of food and farming, Kisaanka’s agri-books introduce core agricultural concepts through engaging, age-appropriate content. The books highlight the importance of farmers, soil, water, crops, and sustainable practices, helping children develop respect for nature and an understanding of food systems from an early age.

In addition to individual readership, Kisaanka introduced a subscription-based model for schools and educational institutions. This initiative enabled structured agricultural learning as part of classroom and extracurricular education, supporting educators with curated content designed to spark curiosity, environmental responsibility, and innovative thinking among students.
Kisaanka is proudly incubated by IIM Calcutta and the North Eastern Council, Government of India, reflecting its strong foundation in research, education, and public impact.

By expanding its presence across physical and digital platforms, Kisaanka continues its mission to make agricultural education accessible, relevant, and engaging for the next generation.
