The flagship quiz initiative from TCS brings together young minds from across India, challenging them to think critically, embrace innovation, and showcase their knowledge on a national stage.
Kolkata, 23rd September 2026: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, hosted the Kolkata edition of TCS InQuizitive 2026, its flagship inter-school quiz program. Following a thrilling day of intense quizzing, Devayudh Das and Iraj Singh from Delhi Public School, Mega City emerged as winners of the Kolkata edition. Home to a rich intellectual and cultural legacy, and renowned for its strong tradition of academic excellence, Kolkata provided the perfect setting for this quiz, where students showcased their knowledge, teamwork, and analytical thinking to earn a place in the national semi-finals.
The Kolkata edition witnessed participation from 162 teams representing 37 schools. The event was graced by Prof.(Dr) Saikat Maitra, Vice Chancellor, Techno India University as the Chief Guest and Manojit Sengupta, Delivery Centre Head – Eastern Region, TCS who represented Tata Consultancy Services on the dais.
Demonstrating the power of AI, this year’s edition of TCS InQuizitive introduced real-time AI-powered analytics, enabling participants to view detailed performance insights after each round and quickly identify areas for improvement.

Open to students from Grades 8 to 12, TCS InQuizitive combines learning with excitement through a dynamic format that spans a diverse range of subjects like education, entertainment, sports, business trends, advertising and social media. With a stronger emphasis on STEM, the quiz also highlighted domains such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, biometrics, and robotics.
Now in its 28th year, the competition has grown into one of India’s most respected inter-school quiz platforms, inspiring generations of students to explore new ideas, broaden their perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
The 2026 edition is being held across Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, culminating in the National Finale, where the country’s brightest young quizzers will compete for the coveted title of TCS InQuizitive National Champions 2026.
