Now, equal right social activist, Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj, has spoken in favour of the film of how there has been a quiet destruction countless men endured because of false accusations levied on them. She also mentioned that male mocking has been normalized to an extent that their emotional abuse, harassment, humiliation socially and mental breakdowns have been ridiculed.
She also mentioned that this is the reason why a film like Bandar is important to be made and is significant in today’s world.

On the other hand, film director, Ruchi Narian stood up against Deepika’s claims suggesting that Bollywood has always had the spine to protect the men but not women because they are out of sight and work.
